Manager, Instructional Services, Technology Services, Erie 1 BOCES

Julianna R. Sciolino is the Manager of Instructional Services for Erie 1 Boces and has worked primarily with technology integration education and professional development since 1994. The services she has been able to create have been a driving force in technology-based acquisition for WNY schools as well as influencing instructional support with thousands of teachers and workshops. Prior to her work with Erie 1 Boces she was a certified mathematics teacher and taught mathematics and computer instruction in the City of Buffalo as well as creating undergraduate online courses for technology integration for Buffalo State College. She is a strategic partner with the P-16 Collaboration group and is currently assisting BSC with their technology professional development initiatives. Ms. Sciolino has been a member of the early WNED Think-Bright collaboration and currently on their Education Services & Outreach Advisory Board. She has recently been taken over the WNY Arts in Education Boces service to help support the Arts and cultural programs in our local schools and hopes to also include support for technology through this venture.
