Jax Deluca’s background as a multi-disciplinary artist has led to many forms of community involvement within the arts, such as in school teaching opportunities and participating in local and international exhibitions. Since 2007, she has worked at Squeaky Wheel, a media arts center that provides media arts programming to community members of all ages and skill levels. Her position as the Director of Programming at Squeaky Wheel reflects her ongoing interests to encourage creativity within individuals and to develop mutually beneficial opportunities for artists and the community. Currently, she is serving as a board member for the Western New York Book Arts Center (WNYBAC) and pursuing a Master’s degree in Arts Management at the University at Buffalo (SUNY), with a special focus on artist residency programs and arts education partnerships.
