This unforgettable exhibit design program is an intensive inquiry-based program designed to teach science concepts and skills related to standardized science test topics including: adaptations, needs of living things, biomes, and ecosystems in a unique way. Students are given a very brief pre- and post-program content assessment to measure change in knowledge. As a final assessment piece, students demonstrate their knowledge by creating their own ecosystems-based project in their classroom. The program is closely aligned with the NYS CCLS as well as specific NYS MST, Social Studies, and Art Learning Standards.

The program includes teacher training, anĀ outreach session in the classroom, and one full day at the Zoo.
