Buffalo Arts Studio' s Tour and Workshop

Add to Wishlist
Students and teachers will participate in a one-hour tour of the Buffalo Arts Studio current exhibition and individual artist studios by our gallery curator. Students will have a chance to view, discus and annualize current art trends. When walking through the artists' studios students will observe the artistic process in various stages and will be encouraged to ask questions. After the tour teachers can choose an on-site workshop taught by a resident artist running approximately 45 minutes. Artists at the BAS can offer a variety of workshops including but not limited to ceramics, printmaking, bookbinding, painting and drawing. They can be custom designed according to the needs of the school and correlated to individual subject areas and the curriculum. Teachers can also choose to have the artist visit their school at a later date for hands on workshop (additional charges may apply).

Pricing varies per residency. Please call the APL office for details, (716) 881-0917.
